They have been told that He is weak, and that is why the world is getting colder. They want to reverse that. Terms: Creator Gods- These created the world and everything in it. They were then trapped as humanity began to worship and supplicate them. As they are tied to what they have created, they cannot leave. They have since been trying to destroy humanity so that they will be free. They can also be freed by giving up their power, but few have agreed to that option. Lost Ones- The Lost Ones are those that served the creator gods as humans, and were refused by their own gods when they died. They still have power, but they are trapped between worlds. Most of them believe that they will still be rewarded if they can complete what they were told to do in life and failed at. They can be released only if they give up their power and repent. Twisted Ones- natural creatures twisted by either the creator gods or the Lost Ones. They are made evil and hunters of humanity, regardless of their original nature. Gods: Ara- the Sun God they're questing for. He has been growing dimmer and asked for warriors to fight for him. Orphe- The Lady of fields and the rolling plain. She nurtures growth and vegetation. Katros- the first human god. Called Stone-Mind, He is known for being complicated and asking much from those He calls to serve him. Xtlta- the new god of the Shadows. Ehrden- Master of the Winds Lena- Ehrden's wife, and a former human. Wields the power of a former Lost One. People: Tarash- the narrator. Shaman to the people, and called son by Ara. Yori- the former leader of the group. He stayed behind with the warriors of Ura. Iada- one of the warriors. Was touched by Orphe during a vision quest to heal him. Now leads. Sharve- one of the warriors. Uraf- one of the warriors. Likes to go to Tarash to make him bother Yori instead of doing it himself. Caros- one of the warriors. Also stayed behind in Ura. Roger- one of the warriors. Marf- a new warrior they picked up from Ura to replace Yori and Caros. Kessel- a new warrior they picked up from Ura to replace Yori and Caros.
